Alissa and Laurie

It's been almost a year since i've took picture of Alissa and Laurie and I've been offered to take picture once again of their kids.  It wasn't as bad of a day but needed a lot of focus and patient to take picture of baby Alissa. :-)

Alison is one of those woman with talent and a good humour. She got married at the registry followed to the football venue in Bishop, I didn't had to ask them for posing, they were natural and very friendly. They were happy with what I've done for far..

I really thanks them for helping me having more experience and to update my portfolio.

The more I take photography, the better I will be!

Job!

I had a job offer first at Sunlight Services, a compagny for dry cleanning, but alot of people told me it wasn't a good ideas, since it was a bit far away, lot's of foreigners that doesn't speak much english.
plus.. the hours were 2pm- to 10pm.. and the bus to get there aren't as great..
but then Heron, a familly grocery store, selling frozen food, called me for an interview, which I went today and as soon as I got in and got into the interview, as soon as I walked out of the door, I got a call for going back in the store and finding out I got the job, I know it's only 12 hours.. but I'm going to get a job that is also part time.. and make it work. so I'll have enough hours covering a full week, which will feel better.
The job is walking distance, 10-15 minutes walk. and it's talking to customer and cleaning and unpacking so it's alright!

I'm feeling much happier already! and hopefully this summer I'll be able to Canada to see my family that I miss so very much!


On other news, I'm still trying to loose weight.. struggling a bit.. but I think once I start to work I'll be fine! :)
I need to less eat. which you know.. I'm a bit eater and I love cooking.. though.. I don't go to McDonald.. or BK... or any places like that, I still manage to gain pound.. but the good news is.. the day I won't work late, I can join my husband for a walk down the river and walking a steep hill that take breath out of me, but secretly I love it, I feel my heart beat and I know it's a work out! and I feel great about it!

I'm still going to look for work into a career that is more convenient and more into the things i like, like Administration..or in photography.
Hopefully.. I'll find something good soon.. but I gotta start from a small job to.. big job I guess.


Still working on my story and characters. it's taking longer than I though it would. but I'll post another chapter soon on my facebook account :)

In a little town...

Today, me and some friends played football (not the american kind...) in the park, when we were done, we went to Morisson, a general store to buy fish for supper, and when i went at the cashier, i heard language that i thogh it was familiar and when i heard french but to make sure i ask " excusser moi, vous parler francais?" (Excusse me do you speak french?) and they said non on est quebecois!(no we're from quebec) probably becase they though i said are you french from france. to my suprise i said wow! and I'm from New-Brunswick! we had a little chat and they were suprise i was living in Bishop! so it made me happy!
meeting people from Canada in a little town in England! small world!! :D

not much..

I'm slowly writing my story about "my life in a travelling bag" while looking for jobs.
Spring is slowly starting to show here, the weather is nice and sunny, temperature last week was almost to 15C, I think I'm going to enjoy this! I still can't wait to go to Canada this summer! it will be nice to see my family and friends and enjoying good foods! like.. KD! I know right?? but we don't have KD in England... or Tim Hortons! baahh!! I can't wait!

I was also wondering if anyone know how to add a friend list on your profile. Maybe i'm blind but I spend ages to look for it and I can't
